Design challenge
This is a big deal for Connect! We want students and professionals to experience how the other thinks and designs. To make this happen, mixed small groups of students and professionals will be given a unique design challenge by a faculty member. There will be a mini-showcase at the end of the challenge.
You are presenting!
That's right, although the day is about interaction, each company will have some time on Friday to present to students about what design, interaction, usability, etc. actually looks like at your company. You will have access to PowerPoint and the Internet during your presentation, so you can bring in a laptop or flash drive as desired (please bring your own Mac video connector cable if using a macbook).
Company Booth
Throughout the event you will have intentional time to discuss jobs and internships with individuals at your own booth. It's basically a career fair table that you will come back to throughout the event. So, bring visuals, signs, information, swag, business cards, and anything else you want to hand out to students.
